Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Carry out maintenance, installation, calibration and repair work, on site and work shop on a variety of communication equipment:
– Radio System, Plant CCTV System, Paging/PA System and electronic/control cards the communication system.

- Troubleshooting, rectification, testing and commissioning of Desktop Radios, Vehicle Radios, Radio antennas, CCTV cameras, control keyboards, monitors, speaker loops, paging handsets and control systems,
- Carry out variety of testing equipment
- Coaching and training other technicians.
- Awareness of various RF frequencies and their approval procedures, Motorola Trunking Radio System, PTZ CCTV cameras (Honeywell, Sony, Panasonic) •
- Familiar with workshop testing and repair techniques
- Familiar with use of special tools and test equipment for equipment maintenance.

Requirements

- Completion of secondary (12 years) education, followed by 2 years` formal training in the Electronics & Telecommunication or 3 years Diploma Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication
- Minimum experience required is 5 years in an oil and gas or petrochemical industry
- Awareness of various RF frequencies and their approval procedures, Motorola Trunking Radio System, PTZ CCTV cameras (Honeywell, Sony, Panasonic) •
- Familiar with workshop testing and repair techniques
- Familiar with use of special tools and test equipment for equipment maintenance.
