Job description / Role
Your main tasks and responsibilities undertaking site survey’s along with vendors/contractors to ensure that FOC proposed projects are reviewed as per plan and are in line with Ooredoo requirements and will meet the business requirements and needs, identifying the changes that are not part of design drawings and are unsuitable and take the required actions to rectify/eliminate them, planning survey activities in line with the implementation roll out plan to ensure that projects are secured and ready in line with the implementation plans, supervising and monitoring the technical design and ensure its proper implementation, monitoring the budget aspects of FOC Projects and ensure that it is implemented within the defined budget, ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time as per the approved standards, ensuring the implementation of Ooredoo’s quality procedures, standards and specifications and fixes any deviations of the standards.
You will be managing and maintaining records ensuring they are up to date and accurate, updating project reports and documentation and disseminate as required, co-ordinating and following-up with vendors, controlling execution plans and acting as an arbitrator to solve problems arising, seeking support from key stakeholders with escalations as required to ensure that rapid actions are taken so as not to delay execution.
Ensure the final reconciliation, project closure & handover processes are executed and all required documentation is completed by teams, coordinating with external agencies and customers to obtain the permissions within the time line, completing the final reconciliation, project closure & handover documentation and submit to the appropriate departments for further actions as necessary.
Requirements
- You should have bachelor’s degree (Electrical /Electronic Engineering and Civil Engineering) with following:
- ≥4 years’ experience in Telecom Industry broad Knowledge of outside Plant Network (Project Execution).
- Experience in Project management methodologies
- Good knowledge in site acquisition/selection and site implementation
- Good knowledge of quality standards in site implementation
- Good Knowledge of Optical fiber characteristics and civil work techniques.
- General Knowledge of all transmission technologies including DWDM, SDH, PDH, GPON, Metro Ethernet
- Knowledge of Telecom Industries Standard
- MS Office Proficiency
- Fluent in written and spoken English – Arabic and advantage
