Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Description

Strategy
- Implement and execute HRP service model in the best effective way in order to achieve Orpic and Function People objectives
- Ensure that people practices in Function is in compliance with the overall Orpic policies and strategy
- Monitor trends, analyse and recommend course corrections in line with Function Head and Orpic overall objectives.
- Faciliate work session, that will ensure leaders are guided
- Provide advice to line managers given key HR indicators.

Leadership
- Faciiliate HRS Policy, Procedures and HRS Agendas, coaching, mentoring and providing guidance for people in leader positions

Budgets and Plans
- Monitor Function employee related cost, analyse reason for over or under spend, Facilitate course correction to ensure Fuction remains within budget
- Headcount, staffing, succession and Omanization plan that is aligned with the overall company staregy, targets and processes

Organisation Structure
- Analyse and advise leadership on structure within company guidelines
- Ensure Function is in compliance with approved headcount, HRS policy and Orpic way.

Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Implementation of HRS Policy within allocated Functions
- Facilitate policy education, coaching and roll-out into Function.

Projects
- Participate in the execution assigned Projects assigned to planning, organising, management and control of assigned projectsmeeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives.

Health, Safety, Security and Environment
- Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the staffing section to guarantee employee safety, security, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Service Level Agreements
- Manage agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA’s) with functions, ensure timely response and action.

Continuous improvement
- Implement continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards and changes in the business environment which demand proactive action plans.

HRP Function Reporting
- Function HRP reports are prepared timely and accurately and meeting department requirements.

Requirements

- University Degree
- Minimum 7 years relevant experience within HR and
- Required with at least 1 year experience in each of the following areas
- Staffing, Performance and Developmnent, Indistrial Relations, Comp and Benefit, Employee Adminitration

COMPETENCIES:
- Proven ability to plan and deliver annual commitments and or projects on time, on budget, on standard
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making ability involving competing objectives and trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to translate human resources techniques and policies into everyday language that stakeholders can understand and carry out
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes, systems and economics is a definite advantage
- Understanding of refinery, petrochemicals or heavy industry is a definite advantage

Leadership and Interpersonal:
- Demonstrated ability to direct, align, motivate and develop people (without authority)
- Demonstrated non-authoritative ability to influence peers and senior managers
- Proven effectiveness in roles requiring complex internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation
- Strong self-awareness of personal strengths, development needs and impact on others
