Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The purpose of the role is to carry out maintenance, installation, calibration and repair work, on site and in repair shop on a variety of Instruments - electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical instrumentation and control valves, final control elements. Includes troubleshooting, rectification, testing and commissioning of instrument loops, Instrument, logics and basic HMI and control systems, handling variety of testing equipment and advising and guiding other technicians.

Requirements

- Minimum requirement is a Diploma in Technology
- Minimum experience required is 5 years in an oil and gas or petrochemical industry

Skills:
- Communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Computer skills (MS – Office)

COMPETENCIES:
- Awareness of various FF, HART, Profibus based instruments,
- Familiar with workshop testing and repair techniques
- Familiar with use of special tools and test equipment for Instrument maintenance
