Senior Master Planner

Job description / Role

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Master Planner for a permanent opportunity based in Oman. My client are a large multidisciplinary and International consultancy who have secured a contract for a large scale Development and Masterplan.

Suitable applicants should have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in developing major Master Plans from concept to detail design, Land use planning and SWOT analysis.

As Senior Master Planner you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate completion of plans, drawings and visualizations as assigned. You will lead the preparation of the Masterplan and policy reports, liaise with relevant local authorities to gain appropriate approvals for all relevant stages of the Master Plan.

You will also liaise with the client and other relevant stakeholders, develop innovative solutions to planning, design, and implementation of urban design work.

You will organize and lead supporting team and Manage the presentation and reports development for clients.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must have a degree in Urban Design Architecture or other relevant discipline. You should have extensive experience of undertaking master-planning projects from concept to delivery and a strong understanding of GCC legislation, regulation, standards and guidance
