Senior Planning Engineer - Air Conditioning & Projects Division - OMASCO - Oman
The objective of this position is to handle the post sales design and planning of multiple HVAC products. Managing the team including the HVAC draughtsman in designing the DX air conditioning projects including selection of HVAC products like VRF systems, AHU-Condensing units, fan coil units, etc.; managing and planning projects in line with Company policies and within allocated costs and time thereby improving customer satisfaction and cost effectiveness; identifying and developing a team of authorised sub-contractors and vendors for project execution, etc. are some of the key functions of this role.
The position will report to the Sr. Divisional Manager and will be part of the Air Conditioning & Projects division of the Retail, Engineering & Distribution team of OMASCO.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with 8 - 10 years of experience or Diploma holder with 12 -15 years of field experience. You will be well versed with HVAC application design, heat load calculations, air distribution design, chilled water design and relevant electrical knowledge to handle HVAC projects along with thorough knowledge of DX and Chilled water systems and international codes like ASHRAE, SMACNA relevant to HVAC. You should also have excellent project and man management skills.
You will be well versed with MS Office & Windows applications. Gulf experience together with valid driving licence preferred.
