Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Coordinate with the project team; provide input in preparation of equipment, instrumentation specifications, plot plans, and general arrangement drawings during detailed process engineering design within on plot utilities.
- Review, comments and approved commissioning and start-up manuals, procedures & method statements; site acceptance test and performance test procedures.
- Deliver all On-Plot Utilities construction until completion with compliance to HSE & Quality standards.
- Work closely with Commissioning Manager to facilitate safe and smooth commissioning of the Units through assurance of best design practices.
- Interface with project team, vendors and EPC Contractors and act as the focal point for any tie-in activities.
- Ensure that construction methods and that execution comply with the agreed contract.
- Report progress with agreed actions and timelines.
- Develop and train Omani nationals assigned to the project.

Requirements

- University B.Sc. degree in Chemical/Process Engineering or similar role.
- Relevant professional qualification is an advantage
- 8 years relevant experience leading multidisciplinary teams on a Mega Projects within Oil & Gas and Petrochemical/Refinery
- Experience in polymers projects and knowledge in logistic is an advantage.
- Functional knowledge of System Application Program ERP/SAP.

Technical and Business:
- Experience with FEED and EPC phases of the project
- Proven success in the checkout, testing, startup and commissioning of Process Refinery Plant.
- Capable to work with multiple systems relevant to plan and execute work
- Demonstrated ability to engage with and manage complex stakeholder input
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results on-time in field of expertise
- Demonstrate ability to communicate at all organizational levels (internal and external to the project team)
- Proven ability to meet highest HSE standards

Leadership and Interpersonal:
- Proven ability to align, motivate and develop people across multiple disciplines and levels
- Demonstrated ability to deliver quality results on-time in field of expertise
- Demonstrated ability work in multi cultural, high pressure team environment
