Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Reports directly to the Project Quality Manager. Performs random Inspections and surveillance's to ensure that work is performed as required by the Project Quality Plan, codes, specifications, drawings, procedures and contract.
- Ensure that the required documentation/records are generated, maintained and include the details of all inspections / surveillance's performed.
- Interact cross-functionally with project team members and management. Provide input to Project Quality Management reports.
- Attend Kick Off and Pre Inspection Meetings if required and make occasional visits to Contractor Suppliers and Subcontractor fabrication yards as and when needed.
- Familiar with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) and OES (Oman Electrical Standard) codes and standards preferred.

Requirements

- University Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years Relevant experience in refinery/petrochemical for Senior Engineer.
- Detailed knowledge of Refinery and Petrochemical power systems, and substations. Project experience would be an advantage.
- Experience in monitoring and coordinating activities of Consultants and EPC contractors

Leadership and Interpersonal:
- Proven effectiveness in analysis execution, delivering results, promotion of team work required
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong customer orientation.
