Senior Sales Assistant - GUESS - Al-Futtaim - Muscat - Oman

In the role of Senior Sales Assistant in our new store opening in Muscat City Centre, Oman, you will deliver customer service through identifying customer needs, offering advise and demonstrating suitable products. You will lead by example your sales team and develop relationships of trust with the customers and ensure all standards are maintained as per company policy and procedures inorder to achieve and exceed sales targets and cultivate customer loyalty whilst upholding the image of the Brand. Coaching and mentoring staff, especially new staff, on payments, deliveries, excellent customer service, etc., will also be a main function of the position.

You will maintain regular contacts with customers and handle complaints, if any. You will become an expert on product knowledge, market trends and competitor analysis; ensures effective display of goods; check stock levels daily and maintain excellent grooming as per the brand standards to represent the business in a positive, professional and prestigious manner. You will report to the Store Manager and assist with the day to day store operations including opening and closing and duty management cover and other security aspects.

Requirements

To be a successful GUESS Ambassador in our new Store, you should be a Secondary School or equivalent qualified candidate with minimum two years of experience in a retail environmnet, with extensive customer facing experience. Knowledge of English is essential; Arabic or other languages preferred. You will posses good PC skills.

You will be confident and a team player and will have an eye for detail. Experience of target management to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets, stock management and replenishment, experience of deliverying excellent customer service with results in sales, etc. are some of the functional skills and specific knowledge that will enable you to succeed in this role.
