Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Identify main Client groups and audiences and determine the best way to communicate publicity information to them.
- Write interesting and effective press releases, prepare information for media kits and develop and maintain the company internet and intranet web pages.
- Develop and maintain the the company ’s corporate image and identity which include the use of logos and signage.
- Manage communication budgets
- Manage special events such as sponsorship of conferences, seminars, parties introducing new products or other activities the company supports in order to gain public attention through the media with or without advertising directly.
- Draft speeches for the company executives and arrange interviews and other forms of contact for them
- Assign, supervise and review the activities of public relations staff
- Evaluate advertising and promotion programs for compatibility with public relations efforts
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local and municipal government officials and media representatives.
- Confer with HR and Line Management to develop internal communications that keep employees informed of the company activities.
- Direct activities of external agencies, establishments and departments that develop and implement communication strategies and information programs.
- Formulate policies and procedures related to public information programs.
- Respond to requests for information about employer’s activities or status
- Observe and report on social, economic, and political trends that might affect the company

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Management Science, Mass Communication or any related subject. MBA is preferred.
- Must have at least 6 years of relevant experience in creating a strong corporate image for the organization with significant experience in media relations and issues management, spokesperson training, strategic marketing alliances, special events, etc. plus strong press releases writing skills that compile comprehensive information about the
- Must have excellent Arabic and English command of language
- Excellent interpersonal skills & relationship building
- Ability to understand social and economic trends
- Demonstrated analytical and conceptual problem solving ability, oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
