Job description / Role
Technical Skills:
• Hands on experience in maintenance of industrial automation Servers, Stations, Clients, HMI’s and other systems infrastructure, comprising Distributed Control System (DCS), Emergency Shut Down (ESD) system and PLC based control systems.
• Hands on experience in maintenance of Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies (IBM, Dell or EMC) and SAN fabric technologies (FC, iSCSI) deployed in industrial automation domain.
• Basic knowledge of disaster recovery infrastructure for automation systems including physical and virtualized servers like Cluster, Resource Pools and High Availability, Distributed Resource Scheduler (DRS), VMware Storage APIs, multi-pathing and VMware Site Recovery Manager.
• Hands on experience in patch deployment and upgrade of industrial automation and critical systems as per OEM approved best practices released for all Hardware & Software components including Storage/Servers Firmware upgrade, OS Patching and VMware Update Manager.
• Hands on experience in physical and virtualized servers’ backups, archives and Image backups.
• Hands on experience in Microsoft Technologies like SQL, DC, Active Directory and DNS deployed in industrial automation domain.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Instrumentation and Controls/Electronics/Computer engineering.
Experience:
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role. Knowledge of servers, computers, virtualization, backup infrastructure and integration and cyber security platforms /solutions. Knowledge of process control domain and process control access domain.
• Knowledge of Process Control Domain & Process Control Access Domain infrastructure. Experience in systems suitable for monitoring applications.
