Job description / Role
Service Operations Manager - HONDA - OMASCO - Muscat, Oman
The main objective of the position is to acquire direct responsibility of achieving the budgeted Net sales, Gross margin, Net profit and CSI for Service Department by analysing the key ratios at all sites and implement action plans through the location manager to maximise revenue and profit potential. In this role, you will provide inputs on Budget, to achieve or exceed revenue & profit, improve customer satisfaction, dealer standards, implement measures for customer and staff retention, assist in facility, manpower and equipment planning, etc.
The position will provide support to the reporting locations to create a customer centric sevice department, implement the dealer standards, and also ensure QHSE management system requirements, customer/associate engagement, etc. The position based in Muscat, will report to GM - Automotive, and will be part of the HONDA Service division of OMASCO.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will be Graduate/Diploma Engineer in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering, preferably with MBA, and 10 - 15 years of experience in automotive service out of which 3 - 5 years should be in a management position. You will have good knowledge and understanding of automobile engineering, dealer management system, etc. You will possess excellent communication, leadership and customer handling skills. You will be a highly motivated leader with strong people focus.
Working knowledge of SAP with good experience of reporting and other activities will be added advantage. You will be well versed with MS Office & Windows applications. Gulf experience together with valid driving licence preferred.
