Job description / Role
Site HSE Manager is required in Oman by a leading International EPC contractor which is responsible for key relationships within country at Major Operators. Site HSE Manager will be responsible in a leading management role for ongoing cross country pipeline projects. HSE Manager will be required to direct resources and activities and provide HSE guidance to senior all project management teams.
HSE Manager will review HSE policies and practices to ensure they are current and appropriate as well as conduct hazard and risk assessments and exact any necessary change requests or develop new recommendations from these assessments
The HSE Manager will serve as the Project Expert on all HSE Matters and will act as the authority with regards to compliance, regulatory or 3rd party safety matters as well as spearhead any contractor representation
The HSE Manager will provide HSE assurance to project management and devise & coordinate training programs in proficiency of safety practices and policies.
During the continuation of the project the HSE Manger will monitor implementations of HSEMS through assurance audits and inspections.
Requirements
- 15 years of Health & Safety in the Oil & Gas industry
- 5 years in a Safety Management role
- Cross Country Pipeline projects
- NEBOSH certificate
- Needs Operator client approval
HSE Manager must show a willingness to perform HSE Management duties at an interior location on site
Site HSE Manager will be working on a 8/2 rotation and must be familiar with HSE Project Management in a GCC country.
This project is a for a minimum of 2 years, fulltime expat package is available
