Job description / Role
- Responsible for slitting the finished materials, according to the daily production schedule and client specifications, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Will be setting up and operating one or more slitting machines, core cutting machines or rewind machines to cut rolls of stock to specification and wind or rewind as necessary.
- Responsible for checking and inspecting material received from prior operations to verify accuracy and conformance to specification on sales order form.
Requirements
- Certificate / Diploma course in industrial / vocational institute or High School Diploma with a relevant technical qualification.
- Minimum of 2 years experiences in Petrochemical / PET resin plant.
- Background in operating Slitting Machine / experience in plastic industry standards.
