Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Maintain high level overview of Smart Home market & industry developments in terms of competition, vendors, trends, technologies etc.
- Provide inputs in relation to design of current and future product lines which may cover a broad range of devices such as electronic devices for security, energy management and home automation-home security/automation gateways, cameras, motion sensors, door locks, smart plugs, door-window sensors, thermostats, etc.
- Oversee / support /design testing, troubleshooting, professional installation and DIY (self-install) methods and procedures
- Write and evaluate requirements for a related product portfolio
- Provide inputs in relation to product positioning and pricing
- Scout and Identify potential Smart Home partners in order to achieve Consumer BU Smart Home objectives
- Develop Smart Home Partnership Framework business case and financial feasibility structure
- For each selected partner, develop and define partner business model and compensation structure
- Negotiate and coordinate partnership agreement
- Manage Partner administration requirements
- Provide required information and reports to partner
- Monitor partner KPI’s
- Introduce partner into the organization
- Develop partner-marketing program in coordination with product development and sales.

Manage Smart Home partnership strategy and relations in order to successfully achieve the objectives of the Consumer BU and maximizing the synergies between the Telecom Company and the Partner.

Requirements

- Thorough understanding of Consumer Telecommunication sector
- Good understanding of Smart Home technologies
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Good regional and/or Omani market knowledge
- Fluent in English
- Bachelor in relevant domain
- A minimum of 7 years in the telecom industry.
