Store Manager - GUESS - Al-Futtaim - Muscat - Oman

In the role of Store Manager in our new store opening in Muscat City Centre, Oman, you will combine a professional and positive approach with enthusiasm for the Guess product and the Brand. You will be accountable for sales performance, focusing on growth and profitability, customer satisfaction, merchandising standards, store operations and the training and the development of the entire staff of the store.

You will network, support recruitment, hiring, developing and retaining staff. You will ensure an excellent level of customer service and maintains visibility and lead by example on the selling floor and answer customer queries. You will support all the functions of the store and ensures profitability expectations and create and execute strategies to maximise store sales and control expenses.

You will execute and comply to the policies and procedures of the company and safe guard company assets. You will use your product knowledge and experience to provide an exceptional shopping experience within the store. You will report to the Retail Operations Manager.

Requirements

To be a successful GUESS Ambassador in our new Store, you should be a High School or equivalent qualified candidate with minimum two years of Assistant Store Manager experience with a proven track record for driving sales and profit results and training and developing a team of individuals. You will possess good command over business English (verbal and written); good computer skills (Outlook, Excel and SAP), along with detailed report analysis skills and a strong level of numeracy and literacy. The nature of the job demands scheduled shifts and may require standing for a minimum of eight hours and some heavy lifting.

You will possess good judgement and decision making skills with an eye for market trends and will be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You will always act with integrity and respect. You will adapt to changes fast and manage promptly and independently unexpected events and issues. Fluency in Arabic would be highly desirable.
