Supply Chain Team lead

Job description / Role

Swisslinx Middle is working with an International Oil & Gas Operator who are looking for a Supply Chain Team Lead to join their Muscat Office.

Purpose

- To Lead and Supervise Procurement, Contracts and Logistics Sections.
- To Develop and execute Project Strategies and develop and run the supply chain function.

Key Responsibilities

- Create relationships with supply chain peers in client organizations to support the company and identify the procurement strategies with contractors.
- Build relationships with subcontractors and suppliers who can affect our execution of projects
- Lead and execute Supply chain activities in support of projects both tendering and execution.
- Development and ensure compliance of company's polices & procedures
- Responsible to draft contracts & bid documents
- Manage the whole bidding cycle
- Identify & implement procurement opportunities with the development and enhancement of relationships
- Develop, implement & Maintain a procurement management information system
- Develop working methods and best procurement practices for the company.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

- Minimum BSc Engineering or Business related degree
- International experience in procurement & contracts is essential
- Minimum 8 years working within Procurement and contracts within Oil & Gas
- Excellent communication
