Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Directly lead the performance of an assigned team of 3 Sr HRP’s, 1 Sr ER Specialist and 1 ER Specialists/Analyst.
- Lead the HR operational delivery in assigned area of responsibility ensuring assigned team provided excellent customer service delivery that is tracked and monitored
- Proactive, effective, efficient and in collaboration with human resources expertise supports workforce planning that including, 3-5 year manning plan, master structure review against business plans, transfers, promotions, internal and external staffing strategies, exit planning guidance
- Proactive, effective, efficient and in collaboration with human resources expertise supports line managers and employees with positive relations building, including, grievance, disciplinary, medical cases, sick leave cases, and leave planning guidance
- Support HRS Function with implementation of People Agenda projects, initiatives and recommendations consistent with approved HRS Policy, Procedures and Guidelines
- Consolidated People Agenda performance monitoring, analysis and reporting that supports senior leader decision making and course correction actions
- Capability development, coaching, feedback, awareness session support for Function Heads, Managers, Team Leaders, Capability Development Coaches, Employees and own team.

Requirements

- University degree and extensive experience in Human Resources practices and policies
- Human Resources or administration education is an advantage

Technical and Business
- 5 years relevant HRS experience leading teams, projects or initiates successfully
- Proven ability to plan and deliver annual commitments and or projects on time, on budget, on standard
- Demonstrated analytical and decision-making ability involving competing objectives and trade-offs
- Demonstrated ability to translate human resources techniques and policies into everyday language that stakeholders can understand and carry out
- Demonstrated understanding of business processes, systems and economics is a definite advantage
- Understanding of refinery, petrochemicals or heavy industry is a definite advantage

Leadership and Interpersonal
- Demonstrated ability to direct, align, motivate and develop people (without authority)
- Demonstrated non-authoritative ability to influence peers and senior managers
- Proven effectiveness in roles requiring complex internal and external stakeholder engagement
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with strong customer service orientation
- Strong self-awareness of personal strengths, development needs and impact on others

Language
- English (fluent) required, Arabic is advantageous
