Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- To execute, coordinate and support the activities related to the overhaul, revamp, up-rate, troubleshooting and studies related to rotating equipment in all plants within the company.
- Establishing and implementing management systems and practices that focus on continuously improving reliability of systems related to rotating equipments.
- Direct supervision, development and management of the maintenance team to ensure efficient and effective work execution and production availability.
- Providing technical assistance to engineers at the site: Rotating Equipment, ICS, Operation, Process and Electrical for maintenance activities
- Ensuring the sustainability of reliability processes, such as Bad Actors, Root Cause Failure Analysis, FMEA, MTBF, etc.
- Institute and help execute a reliability centered maintenance program.
- Supporting the development and implementation of reliability strategies consistent with requirements as defined by Asset Management.
- Act as the Maintenance interface with Project Engineering to provide input on new capital projects.
- Developing and maintaining external specialty services contractors (e.g., Elliot, Man turbo)
- Prepare the annual budget OPEX and CAPEX for the section & monitor expenditure over the year.
- Optimum utilization of SAP.
- Use historical operations, reliability and maintenance data in analytical tools and studies to sustain and improve asset performance.
- Train and mentor engineers and other plant employees on the fundamentals of Rotating Equipment maintenance and Plant reliability
- To assist plants in identifying solutions to the recurring chronic problems which require in depth investigation and liaise with original equipment manufacturers (if required) to ensure effective solutions.
- To provide technical advice on the rotating equipment to various operating, engineering, projects and training departments/divisions.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with at least 15 years experience in Refineries, Petrochemical, fertilizer etc.
- Extensive experience working on large rotating equipment like Steam Turbines, Centrifugal.
- Compressors, Reciprocating Compressors, Gas Turbines, Pumps, Dry and Wet Seals and Sealing system, and Condition Monitoring.
