Employment: Full Time

On behalf of our client, a western multinational organisation which has listings in a number of jurisdictions, we are urgently seeking a Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) for our clients operation in Pakistan. Our clients business in Pakistan is over USD1bn in revenues, a highly attractive employer and is a fast moving major player in the local market with both B2C and B2B offerings.

There are a number of key areas where the CHRO will be expected to create change and value, these include; Changing the organisations culture from a high headcount multi department system to a more lean and agile model and ensuring that organisational culture avoids any traditional hierarchical style of operation. Focusing HR on Gen Y (millennials) as both a future customer base but also as a current and increasing future talent base. Streamlining and delayering processes and procedures to support the business and its competitive advantage. Creating M&A synergies and success in the post-acquisition integration of similar or competitor businesses within Pakistan. Liaising with the Group headquarters to create centres of excellence for the region which will be based in Pakistan.

Requirements

Relevant candidates MUST HAVE this vital experience - A minimum of twelve years’ experience in a senior HR position and will be able to demonstrate experience of working within a western multinational organisation in Pakistan or overseas.

Preference will be given to candidates from commercial and competitive sectors over candidates working in the NGO or governmental sector. M&A experience from the HR perspective is highly attractive but for exceptional candidates this requirement can be compromised somewhat.
