Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objectives: Heading Sales & Marketing Department, the candidate will contribute in formulating the overall project Sales & Marketing strategy, lead the department in generating and executing the sales & marketing plan and provide the necessary marketing research and analysis, business development activities. He/she will also be responsible for creating and executing the annual sales & marketing program for Emaar Pakistan Projects, maintaining Brand Image, Brand Equity and commercial partnerships with Real Estate Agents locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities include but not limited to:

Marketing:
- Develops and implements the company’s marketing strategy by defining departmental MBOs/KPIs
- To act as a brand manager to develop and execute the different brand strategies and position company’s brand competitively and ensuring brand equity.
- To conduct relevant research plus marketing, brand related surveys and regularly analyze market trends and align market strategy accordingly.
- Responsible for the management of the group of brands represented by the organization and oversees all brand related issues.
- Identify target markets and plan to reach them most effectively
- Responsible for the negotiations with service providers and working in close coordination with vendors, marketing agencies etc
- Responsible for the development, allocation and management of the marketing budget.
- Plan marketing campaigns and manage budgets (including media advertisements, online & offline campaigns, and promotions & special offers etc.)
- Engage in effective image building strategies including press releases, press conferences, events & sponsorships, website updates, co-branded activities etc
- To ensure that marketing campaigns run to deadline and within the stipulated budget
- Monitor and report on effectiveness of implemented strategies and campaigns
- Manage a team of marketing executives and assistants
- Detailed response analysis
- Forging strategic marketing partnerships with associations, publications and research organizations
- Creating innovative media plans utilizing direct mail, internet, e-mail, fax
- Building marketing database and effectively utilizing internal databases
- Writing copy for marketing letters and promotional materials
- Responsible to identify, negotiate and manage relationships with communication/pr, technology and channel partners whose objectives and product/service offerings complement the organization's vision.
- Oversee the design and production of marketing collateral i.e poster, brochures etc.
- Appraising the performance of marketing staff on periodic basis (half yearly and full year) and assisting them in their professional growth.
- Oversee the website design and maintenance.

Sales:
- Formulate, implement and execute sales strategies that support achievement of stipulated sales targets for each project launched by Emaar
- Ensures accurate presentation of Sales function’s administrative & financial transactions in order to provide Management with the required financial information reports, Local & International Consultants’ commission and also ensures adherence to agreed budgetary guidelines for Sales Division.
- To ensure Local & International Real Estate consultants proper registration by controlling documentation submitted by the Consultants as per Company Policy.
- To evaluate Local & International Real Estate consultants commission in compliance with company’s policies and procedures.
- Update and amend the prevalent policies and procedures of the Sales/Real Estate Consultant ( REC) programme and align them with the dynamics of Pakistani market
- To build on the existing REC network and develop new Consultants for Emaar to be perceived as strategic business partners for local and International sales
- Create knowledge about Emaar by imparting sales training to all Consultants on board and familiarize with changes in policies on quarterly basis
- Build relationship with Consultants and motivate them by devising incentive plans to encourage healthy competition amongst the real estate consultants and help in achieving targets.
- Ensure timely response to and follow up sales enquiries of the leads/RECs through Sales team.
- Monitor, analyse and report on competitors’ activities, trends, results and recommendations relating to the real estate sector activities.
- To ensure that MIS reports pertaining to budgetary variance and financial analysis are made available to the Management.
- To monitor and provide Management with sales reports on regular basis and also provide Management with traffic reports in sales centres on regular basis.
- To interact with ERP and IT function for ensuring accuracy and full utilization of Oracle reporting system.
- To maintain and monitor inventory movements on regular basis.
- Appraising the performance of marketing staff on periodic basis (half yearly and full year) and assisting them in their professional growth.

Travel requirements: Frequent locall and internationally
Gross monthly base salary: Gross Monthly Salary in Pak Rupees, Taxable
Commission / Bonus: Performance based as per company policy

Requirements

- Preferably Masters or Bachelors in Business, Communications,
- Other certifications obtained: Sales
- Demonstrated record of achievement in generating sales and marketing of high value products and services, preferably real estate and property

Specialist knowledge:
Sales and Marketing, Property and Real Estate Sales, Branding, International Sales, Sales to High Net Worth Individuals, Wealth and Investment Advisory, International Sales

The successful candidate should be a self-starter, highly organized and able to work well with authority at all levels in the organization. The good knowledge of Microsoft Office, ERP and Windows-based computer applications is such important as good communication and excellent presentation skills.
