We are now accepting applicants for a major infrastructure development program in the West Bank and Gaza, involving transportation, water supply, wastewater treatment, energy and other facilities components.

The Document Controller supports the technical management of the overall planning, design and construction management program to ensure that all forms of documents are organized, properly executed, can be accounted for, and are complete.

The Document Controls Manager is responsible for the following:
- Establish rigorous system of document management to include, but not be limited to, contractual documents, drawings, specifications, bid packages, press releases, correspondence, minutes and notes of meetings, notices to proceed, notices for all project actions, official memos or directions order by project management, and other documents and reports deemed to be project deliverables.
- Establish strict procedures for circulation, recall, and recording revisions.
- Establish file formats for storage. Retrieval and maintaining documents, including author, dates of issue, copied parties, version number, location of originals, review/revision procedures.
- Establishing state-of-the-art methods for archiving original reports and other documents for ease of access by authorized persons.
- Maintain organized records and prepare periodic required reports to management.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering, communications or a management field from an accredited university.
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in management information systems (MIS) and in setting up and managing large program-level document control systems.
- Proven team player capable of working with a team of multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural specialists.
- Experience with previous USAID programs a plus.
- Good written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in West Bank/Gaza preferred.
