Accommodation Supervisor (Global Sports Event Qatar 2022 - Accommodation Services)

Accommodation Supervisor (fixed term contract until December 2023)

What you will be doing:

- Coordinate accommodation requirements together with the Talent & Culture department for arriving employees.
- Ensure that all new employees are shown around the accommodation and settle in well.
- Ensure the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the employee accommodation is maintained by carrying out regular spot checks.
- Ensure that all employees adhere to accommodation rules.
- Maintain files including accommodation inventory, maintenance records and loss/damage reports.
- Assist in the posting / clearing of notice boards as & when required.
- Assist in the airport pick up of arriving employee and sending of departing employee.

Requirements

Your experience and skills include:

- Experience in the hospitality sector is desired, experience in Qatar is a plus
- Fluent in English (spoken and written), any additional language is a plus
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position in a large scale property
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Confident with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong employee relations and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills, guest & employee oriented and service minded
- Team spirit
- Good listening skills and ability to anticipate
- Empathy with ability to see from all sides
