Account Manager

Job description / Role

In-charge of all accounting activities of both financial and management accounting.

Responsible in the preparation of financial and performance reports, assisting departments with annual budgets and reviews, internal control and tax studies:
- Prepare financial statements and other reports to summarize and interpret current and projected company financial position.
- Accountable for accuracy and timeliness of inventory controls and cost controls.
- Monitor compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and company procedures.
- Review, investigate, and correct errors and inconsistencies in financial entries, documents, and reports.
- Determine proper handling of financial transactions and approves transactions within designated limits.
- Compile and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts, cost centers and documents business transactions
- Prepare work papers and supporting schedules for the annual financial review. Distribute monthly comparison reports and cost center reports according to schedules.

Requirements

- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance. Must be Certified Public Accountant
- Minimum seven (7) years of experience as accountant, five (5) years of which should be in a supervisory level in a construction company in the GCC

Skills:
- Excellent knowledge of Financial Processes
- Significant knowledge of accounting
- Experience working within an executive team
- Excellent skills in communication, analytical reasoning, organization, and interpersonal relations
