Accountant

Job description / Role

Providing the management Financial Informations, analyzing accounting data and preparing reports. Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.

- Experience end to end accounting activities
- Maintain controls by preparing and recommending the policies and procedures
- Reconciliation and settlement of accounts, monthly balance sheet, profit and loss statements and other reports
- Strong capability in finance support to the business stake holders for our group of companies and our customers
- Provide objective and analytical insight in the strategic direction and development of the entities
- Supervise and follow up the financial aspects of our customers projects
- Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports and compare the budgeted to actual costs
- Must comply with the local financial legal requirements by studying new legislation laws, enforcing adherence to requirements, and adivising management on needed actions
- Budget monitoring
- Preparation of consolidated accounts under IFRS
- Financial modeling

Requirements

- Must hold a degree in Accountancy or a related field
- Practical experience of IFRS (at least 3 to 5 years)
- Solid understanding of accounting consolidation under IFRS
- Detail-oriented, efficient and organized professional with extensive experience in accounting systems
- Possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to make well thought out decisions.
- Corporate finance, good analyzes and reporting skills, deadline oriented, confidentiality, time management and data entry and reporting management,
- Proficiency with Microsoft office applications
- Bilingual speaking English & Arabic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The preferred candidate must have a project follow up strong experience in the Gulf countries, Qatar having 3 to 5 years’ experience will be preferred.
