Job description / Role
- Preparation of Management & Financial Accounts to agreed timetables
- Advising senior management on financial aspects the business
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, plan and outlooks which meet Company and parent company requirements
- Manage a team of accounting staff to ensure efficient running of the function.
- Optimise the use of the accounting system e.g. ERP Packages to assist in the smooth running of the business
- Compile and evaluate adhoc and routine reports for management information purposes
- Promote the adoption of “Best Practice” throughout the function
- Attend to auditors, ensure compliance to standards and address issues raised by auditors
- Experience on ERP platforms an advantage, though not essential.
Requirements
- 4 to 5 year industry experience.
- Professionally qualified – ACA/ACCA/CIMA/ CPA
- Advanced PC skills in the use of spreadsheets and power point.
- Company and Industry knowledge.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- People management skills.
