Job description / Role
We are urgently looking for an AFC Engineer to work for one of our most important Consultancy firms in Qatar. It is for the construction of the metro of Doha City (Qatar)
Your responsibilities would be:
- To manage all activities of the Metro Systems D&B Contractor(s) related to designing, procuring, integration, installing and testing of a gated AFC System solution.
- To be the key technical focal point for all matters relating to the Design, implementation and delivery of the Project AFC System.
- To lead the, AFC System from a technical expertise base and to have a proactive role with the Contractor to resolve issues and for the timely system delivery.
- Review of the Employers Requirements and the Contractors functionality for feasibility and correctness and to provide recommendations for amendment
- To assist in the development of process and procedure to ensure the consistency and quality of the approach through design and into manufacture, testing and commissioning.
Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of overall experience
- Have at least 5 years of Similar Experience
- Have Metro Experience
- Be a B.Sc., BEng, BA or Equivalent holder
- Must have strong experience in their specific functional area
