Airport Operations Control Center Officer - Hamad International Airport - Doha

Responsible of organising all Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) positions related to flight data and resource allocation and resource allocation short term planning. Monitor the actual operation and has to perform needed changes and take actions to the planned and real time allocation based on operational requirements, dynamic changes of the flight data over the operational day and the activation of the A/C docking system. The scope of actions is to protect the On Time Performance (OTP) of the airport, to ensure operations under the safety regulations and support the operations of DOH hub.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Perform the allocation of the airport hard resources (stands, gates and check-in counters) of HIA through the Gate Management System in order to achieve smooth and safe airport operations.
- Allocation of the parking stands of DIA through the Gate Management System in order to accommodate the traffic according to the safety restrictions.
- Preplanning of the hard resource allocation for the next day.
- Day to day flight data processing and validation on the operational day and the next day in the Airport Operational Data base

Requirements

- Bachelor degree or equivalent.
- Over 3 years experience in a comparative function capacity within the aviation industry (either aerodrome operations, Ground Handling or airline environment) preferably handling airport operations control centre functions.
- Must have attended airline operations courses i.e. passenger, ramp and cargo.
- Must have relevant experience in Flight Data Management and Stand, Gate, Check-In Counter Allocation.
