Architectural/Design Coordinator - Arabic Speaking – Qatar - 6 month contract

Linum Consult’s client is a major contractor operating across the globe on a variety of construction and engineering projects. They are currently seeking an Architectural Coordinator to join their team on a 6-month contract in Qatar.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinating with the company’s Architectural department to interface building components, initiate mock-ups and prototypes and review all shop drawings prior to submission to the Consultant
- Driving and managing the internal and external teams to meet schedule submissions and deliverables
- Meeting with the Client’s representatives and consultants to get them on board with the company’s proposed plans and submissions
- Ensuring all submitted works are in accordance with the Client’s specifications and standards

Requirements

- Degree qualification in Architecture/Architectural Engineering from a reputable university
- At least 10 years’ experience in the construction industry, working on 5-star hotel construction projects or high-end residence building projects
- Strong background of working for main contractors is essential
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to coordinate and manage projects
- Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic
- Please note that this is a 6-month contract only
