We are currently inviting applications for an Assistant Director of Clinical Pharmacy to join Hamad Medical Corporation. The job holder is a clinical pharmacy expert requiring a high level of expertise in areas such as intensive care (adult or pediatric), transplant, and infectious diseases or drug and poisons information. Their experience, skills and knowledge will make them a source of expertise in pharmacotherapy and they will be seen as an opinion leader in their specialty area of therapeutics within HMC.
Principle accountabilities will include medicine distribution, patient care, medicines information, continuing personal development, teamwork and professional collaboration and you will also display management and leadership skills. In depth knowledge required of pharmacy computer applications, with special emphasis on existing and planned products; order management, automated dispensing, CPOE, IV compounders, packagers, bar code applications, and supply chain solutions.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent.
- Licensed Pharmacist
- 5 years experience within a hospital environment
