Employment: Full Time

An international luxury department store renowned for their premium, contemporary and designer fashion is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser. We are seeking an individual who has 1-3 years merchandising experience within a recognised premium/luxury department store. This role will be based in Doha- Qatar and report directly into a Merchandiser. You will be working collaboratively across a multicategory team consisting of Menswear, Kidswear, Home and Gifting. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is seeking an international challenge in the Middle East with a globally recognised brand.

Responsibilities:
* Collating and preparing daily, weekly and seasonal reports for the merchandising team. Regularly reviewing in season trading.
* Assisting with range planning alongside the Merchandiser and Buyer.
* Updating weekly forecast reports and raising potential issues with Merchandiser.
* Monitoring the intake schedule. Flagging up any potential intake/stock issues to the Merchandiser.
* Inputting pricing information and purchase orders. Ensuring supplier order books are updated and data integrity is maintained.
* Critical path management - Working closely with suppliers to chase outstanding orders and delivery dates. Developing production plans with suppliers and following through to delivery.
* Preparing markdowns and inputting new pricing information.

Requirements

* 1-3 years planning/allocating/ merchandising experience
* Possess strong analytical and numerical skills
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and excellent all-round IT skills.
* Have retail experience, ideally within menswear fashion.
* Be able prioritise and manage a busy workload.
* Be proactive and enthusiastic and want to be a part of a growing team.
* Able to work in a multicultural team
