Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The Sales Key account manager will be responsible for driving the development of Rail Industry Fare Box Revenue through sales to end users also by building relationships with designated partners within the assigned market.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Work with Senior Sales Distribution Manager for the development of a professional Sales department and administration of contracts with specific focus to leisure, sports and consumer partnerships.
• Support Senior Smart Services and Innovation Manager in the development and implementation of fare retailing and direct distribution channels, CRM systems focusing on sales capabilities.
• Ensure that Rail Industry Fares and Tariffs for the target market are defined and distributed effectively.
• Lead the key sales effort for the assigned market to ensure the achievement of the revenue sales targets in accordance with Rail Industry commercial strategy and objectives.
• Develop and implement the marketing and sales plan for the assigned target market. Write business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
• Supervise the negotiation and administration process related Rail Industry Fare Box revenue contracts with relevant sales distribution channels and partners.
• Focus on growing and developing the existing clients, together with generating new business.
• Monitor revenue results and forecast of clients on periodic basis and recommend corrective actions if necessary. Actively investigate and report benchmark.
• Plan and implement events towards designated customers within the assigned market, in conjunction with PR department.

Requirements

• Proven experience as Sales executive with a minimum of 10 years Sales position
• Previous experience in marketing and Sales departments
• Specific experience in Transportation industry within the GCC (Gulf Cooperation Council) Countries and multicultural environment would be highly desirable
• Experience in managing marketing and sales plans
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
• Experience in developping and managing CRM (Customer Relationship Management) , AFC (Automated Fare Collection) systems would be highly desirable
• Highly self-motivated. A track record of implementing Sales Processes, procedures
• Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs. Excellent organizational skills
• Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
• Professional Training:
• CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) or other relevant professional membership would be highly desirable
