Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position is responsible for managing the implementation of BIM standards, the BIM technology platform, as well as the BIM capacities and capabilities. The BIM Manager is setting up and maintaining a strategic BIM implementation roadmap, and will report regularly on its status, will manage the BIM implementation accordingly to the timeline and budget set out in the plan.

The BIM Manager ensures that projects are identified and classified regarding the level of BIM to be applied in those projects. Duties include the assessment of project partners and the communication of required BIM standards to project teams and the supply chain.

The BIM Manager is also responsible for the management of the BIM standards and information models across the project stages from feasibility studies, conceptual design to construction and hand over. The BIM Manager ensures that the staff at that is tasked with BIM responsibilities has the right skills and gone through a development plan.

Requirements

- Over all experience should be 15 years in design, engineering and construction.
- In-depth knowledge of BIM Autodesk
- Expertise in preparation of 3D BIM Models
- Expertise in content creation
- Good understanding of integration from/to BIM with other applications.
- Experience in BIM and associated software skills supporting the automation.
- BIM experience with 3D rendering and visualization, BOQ , Cost estimation, Analysis and simulations.
- Managing key stakeholders vendors, PMC`s, other government entities.
- Bilingual is preferred ( Arabic / English)
