We are now seeking an exceptional BIM Technician (Drainage) to join our award winning team based in Doha, Qatar. This position is responsible for developing and assisting project teams in BIM project set up and ensure compliance

with BIM Execution Plan.

Responsibilities

We envisage success in this role to include;

- Developing and assisting project teams in BIM project set up and ensure compliance with BIM Execution Plan.
- Coordinating with BIM Manager and other BIM coordinators to ensure that BIM is acceptably delivered to the department.
- Assisting in implementing BIM training modules for staff and provide technical BIM support for section.
- Ensuring that the design standards align with the firm's CAD / BIM / GIS strategy and link appropriately with the wider business.
- Participating in the process of developing BIM standards and polices for projects.
- Developing BIM Civil 3D templates in coordination with concerned department.
- Developing BIM Object libraries in coordination with the concerned department.
- Providing guidance and assistance with design projects to ensure they are setup and progress optimally.
- Managing BIM processes e.g. 3D design coordination and clash detection.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision you have minimum 15 years relevant experience couple with a drafting diploma or equivalent and thorough knowledge of BIM projects and software (e.g. Revit/ Civil3D/
Navisworks).
