Business Analyst (BA) - Base24

Job description / Role

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to work in a permanent position for one of our most prestigious clients in the Qatar. The Candidates applying for this position should have experience in card payment switches or card management systems, BASE24 switch, card management system (Prime) with MasterCard and Visa payment system knowledge.

The Business Analyst (BA) will be responsible for consulting with the business unit management, from an information technology (IT) perspective, to assist in identifying and improving business system needs, current processes input/output controls, and data requirements.

The BA will define and ensure that the business needs are accurately translated into business analysis and requirements specifications.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years in the banking & operations with at least 2 years in IT.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in the field of MIS.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, Telecommunications, Business Administration or a related technical field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Arabic (preferable).
- Possess strong computer software MS Office (Word, Excel and Access) skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Excellent business process analysis and mapping.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to effectively interact at all levels in the bank and outside contacts.
- Planning and organizing ability.
- Frequent contact with Head User Support Services to provide work progress updates, solve day - to - day administrative issues and receive higher approval where required.
