Business Development Manager - Leading European Piling Contractor

Job description / Role

Our client is one the leaders in specialist foundation projects across Europe and part of one the leading global construction and civil engineering contractors.

As a group they have recently turned over 1.8 bn and their specialist foundation division has offices in the UAE, Qatar and Kuwait and an integrated design office. They specifically work on shoring, diaphragm wall, slurry wall, secant pile wall, contiguous wall, temporary or permanent ground anchor, piling work (bored piles, CFA piles etc.), grouting work and soil improvement.

As the Business Development Manager you will be required to develop and follow up business and activities related to special foundation works.
- Introduce the Company to potential clients and consultants in Qatar
- Represent the company with potential client and consultants as per the Company Policies
- Obtain tenders from potential clients
- Prepare commercial and technical bids
- Negotiate Contracts
- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all project contributors

Please note that due to the nature of this role from time to time you will be required to travel across the Middle East.

Requirements

- 10 years' experience as a Business Development Manager for a piling or foundation contractor
- Excellent technical knowledge
- Good Estimation Knowledge
- Strong Commercial and Contractual acumen
- Excellent communication skills (written & oral)
