Business Finance Manager
In this role you will be responsible for the preparation of financial and strategic planning, monitoring variance against the budget, evaluating opportunities and risks, and implementation of cost control. As a leader, the role will assist staff members in providing value-added, meaningful, and insightful reporting and analysis for Senior Management.
Key responsibilities include being accountable to present an objective view of the company's financial situation and providing sound recommendations for the allocation of resources to achieve business goals and objectives; leading, directing and managing the preparation, execution and analysis of budgets; leading the business unit’s strategic business drivers to determine investment allocation and creating business cases for proposed projects; and evaluating opportunities/risks by providing sufficient information to facilitate fair evaluations.
This is a key management role within the Finance team and therefore effective management and development of the team is essential.
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor's degree with postgraduate qualification such as CA/CPA/MBA or equivalent. You will have a minimum of 7 years experience with 3 years in a relevant area in a managment role. Experience within an airline is preferred however experience in a large multinational organisation will also be considered.
Excellent communication & presentation skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively across the organization. Good knowledge of internal finance systems together with strong computer skills are essential.
