Job description / Role
The CAD Programmer shall be able to identify and troubleshoots CAD software problems and work on the improvement of CAD processes by applying new techniques available through CAD software.
The CAD Programmer should be experienced at drawing and design office practice, preparing design using Civil 3D, configuration control and document management.
The CAD Programmer shall perform programming in Visual Basic or other programming languages to integrate AutoCAD and other data base and office applications and creates design automation software for AutoCAD.
Requirements
Degree in Engineering with minimum 8 years experience in developing CAD related tools to automate and control CAD processes and designs. Experience in developing tools for civil infrastructure design projects is a major advantage.
Must be technically skilled at AutoCAD development and system documentation, Civil 3D, Visual Basic or VB Script with experience in CAD and extensive process design and development.
Must have extensive Visual Studio.net and AutoLISP experience and developed previously customized modules & plugins on top of Autodesk vertical products.
Must be fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
