Cargo Interline Sales Officer - Qatar Airways - Doha

Reporting to Manager Cargo Business Performance and Automation to develop and maintain relationships with other airlines and trucking companies, for the purpose of establishing and growing interline flows. Monitors on an on-going basis, ensures that both parties are meeting / exceeding expected standards, and QR Cargo is continuing to benefit from a particular relationship.

The successful candidate will need to identify potential airline partners, negotiating interline agreements, trucking rates and with service providers, overseeing finalised signed agreements and reviewing existing contracts to ensure they are beneficial to QR Cargo.

You will proactively identify opportunities to re-negotiate existing interline agreements with other Airlines, suggest same to MCRM based on interline spend and related facts. You will also set up a report of Interline revenue and tonnage for cargo moving on QR and other Airlines. Ensure relevant Special Pro-rate Agreements are updated timely in the system as a ready reference for the network.

Requirements

The candidate should be a Graduate. University graduate in economics, business administration or similar field will be an advantage. Higher Education in mathematics and Analytical studies with excellent communication and presentation skills is preferred. Very good MS Office knowledge is required.

The candidate should be a specialist with a minimum 5 years of job related experience required out of which 3 years preferably in the Airline industry. The Successful candidate should have hands on experience in air cargo sales and marketing and revenue management.
