Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The role of the Cargo OCC Officer is to represent QR Cargo as a part of the key decision making team within the OCC to improve operational efficiencies and customer service in the QR network by centralizing and pro-actively monitoring the planning, payload and communication of irregular operations.

You will constantly monitor the state of the operation and alert both Airport and Space Control Teams of potential issues and making sure that all information that may cause irregular operations is communicated to all concerned in a timely manner to ensure proper proactive plans can be developed.

You will be preparing comprehensive reportsof all Flight upgrades, downgrades, cancellations, diversions and payload reports for the Cargo Management. Proper coordination between QAS, QR & outstations on a flight delay situation requiring special handling/attention to ensure smooth movement of cargo.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for this role must have 05-06 years of work experience out of which 03-04 years should be spent in the airline industry or a reputed GHA on a supervisory level. You must have good knowledge of Safety and Security procedures in accordance with ICAO and IATA and local authorities. You must have a good understanding about IATA and TACT regulations and can communicate with all facets of the Airline.

You must be knowledgeable with Weight and Balance, Ramp handling, DGR/LAR certified and Cargo reservations. You must have excellent interpersonal skills and you must be able to work under strong pressure.
