Cerner Applications Specialist - (ERM/ESM), Doha, Qatar, 6 Months Contract
The Cerner Application Specialist - provides high quality application support by Implementing new designs/changes/upgrades to the existing system. The Cerner Application Specialist works closely with the assigned department to ensure that the system operates in an optimal and efficient manner at all times and that the system meets the requirements of the end-users and provides specialist support for a Specific Cerner application as part of the overall support service.
- Defines overall application functional/business requirements with clinical end users and recommends application modifications/configurations/processes for solutions to functional requirements.
- Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results.
- Guides end users through complex application functionality.
- Enhances own knowledge through understanding clinical trends and objectives.
- Utilizes in-depth knowledge to provide appropriate solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree In IT or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of system development methodology, project management, system architecture and analytical/problem solving skills.
- Knowledge of academic hospital clinical principles and operational principles
- Experience supporting solutions in hospital environment
- Experience working and collaborating with Software support teams
- Cerner ERM/ESM experience is a MUST.
