Chef De Cuisine Up To 11k Qar++ For A Leading 5-Star Hotel In Doha, Qatar

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Exhibits culinary talents by personally performing tasks while leading the staff and managing all food related functions
• Coordinates menu development, purchasing, staffing and food preparation for the hotel
• Works with team to improve guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget
• Must ensure sanitation and food standards are achieved
• Develops and trains team to improve results
• Ensuring culinary standards and responsibilities are met
• Managing and conducting human resource activities
• Provides information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
• Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems
• Attends and participates in all pertinent meetings

Requirements

• POSITION: Chef De Cuisine
• SALARY: up to 11,000 QAR depending on experience and qualifications plus accommodation and transportation benefits
• HIRING COMPANY: Leading 5* Hotel
• LOCATION: Doha, Qatar
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately will be prioritized
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time

CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to European (Western or Eastern) nationality
• Male/Female, 25-38 years old and below

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• 2-years degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major and high school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience as Sous Chef in a 5-star hotel property
• Open to home country experience
• Strong grill or steakhouse experience is a must
