Charterhouse is working with a market leader, who is looking to hire a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for their diverse pharmaceutical group who will provide leadership for all aspects of the company’s operations with an emphasis on long-term goals, growth and profit. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

The CEO will be the first in command in the company and be responsible for giving the proper strategic direction as well as creating a vision for success. You will be responsible for overseeing the company's business operations, financial performance, investments, and ventures. In addition, you will also provide market insights and strategic advice, developing and implementing business plans to improve cost-efficiency.

In conjunction, you will work with the Board of Directors and other executives to establish short-term objectives and long-range goals, and related plans and policies, as well as ensuring company policies and legal guidelines are clearly communicated.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, the candidate should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmaceutical Studies with an additional qualification in Business Management, and a minimum of 15 years’ experience in a managerial role.

You should currently hold a similar role or be a General Manager/ Operations Manager/Business Manager of an organisation, and have an entrepreneurial mind-set with outstanding organisational and leadership skills.

Excellent managerial and financial skills and the ability to take leadership over any business operations area, as well as strong communication and public speaking skills are essential. Preference will be given to candidates with GCC experience in a similar role.
