Employment: Full Time

Our client is a newly established parent company for an existing family business which has been operational over 30 years. They are going through a transformation phase and have an exciting opportunity for a Chief Legal Officer to join the senior management team.

The incumbent will provide strategic and commercial legal advice to the CEO and BOD’s ensuring they provide sound legal advice and protect the legal interests of the company minimising risk and exposure across the organisation.You will also be responsible for but not limited to establishing the legal department, maintaining all legal compliance locally and internationally, commercial and contract management, draft and solidify agreements, contracts and other legal documents, keep abreast with industry changes and regulatory frameworks and develop the legal policy and procedures.

Requirements

To be considered for this exciting and challenging opportunity the successful candidate should have held the same position and be PQE 10 years Law. You will have gained extensive exposure in the Middle East with exposure to cross-border transactions.You should have excellent negotiation skills, broad competencies including regulatory, risk management and compliance and have extensive experience working with multiple stakeholder and complex legal matters.
