Job description / Role
A large Petrochemical company is actively searching for a new Chief Strategy Officer to lead the growth and development of the company in the very desirable location of Doha, Qatar! This is an exciting and unique opportunity to join a highly successful regional company who are committed to performance, delivery and international growth.
The role will require you to develop, prepare and follow through with a growth strategy for the company. You will ensure the company’s investments are technically feasible and economically evaluated. You will develop strategy based on your understanding of where and how to invest in new and joint ventures, M&A’s and new acquisitions. You will also be accountable for the training and development of Qatari nationals within the company to make sure that the company’s policy on nationalisation is met.
Requirements
- 20+ years’ experience predominantly in the Oil and Gas industry
- Bachelor’s in Business, additional finance Qualifications would be advantageous
- To have handled a number of high valued investments
- Experience training and developing local talent
- Arabic language skills and not essential but highly advantageous.
