Job description / Role
We are urgently looking for a Resident Engineer (Civil Engineer) with extensive experience in Rail or Metro Building, Depot Construction experience.
- Be responsible for providing design review and assistance to construction oversight of the depots civils/buildings part.
- Support the work of the RE Depots – Civil/Buildings for a range of engineering tasks.
- Contributing to the delivery of the projects and coordinating other engineering disciplines.
- Responsible for supporting design solutions, reports, specifications and drawings, covering a range of project requirements for Depots-Civil/Buildings.
- Liaise with clients and contractors, respond to their queries and attend construction and progress meetings.
- Ensure that depots/civils buildings design provides for a safe working environment and that OHSE and Human Factors are included within every aspect of the design
- Validate the whole of life maintenance schedule
- Evaluate the impact of design changes on maintenance activities schedule.
Requirements
- Have at least 10 years of overall experience
- Have at least 5 years of Similar Experience
- Have Metro Experience
- Be a B.Sc., BEng, BA or Equivalent holder
- Be experienced with civil engineering and large building construction activities
