Claims Manager - Western Educated - Qatar
A International Contractor now operating as the Main Contractor on its 7th consecutive project in Qatar has an opportunity for a Claims Manager.
The position is to assist and advise on a number of contractual matters on a large infrastructure project in Qatar. Valued at 3 Billion USD, this project has 2 left to run and the contractor requires a talented contractual/claims manager to assist them during this period.
Given the necessity to have prior experience liaising with the Governmental authorities in Qatar, Guildhall is obliged to only consider candidates who are based in Qatar and as such can obtain a transferable NOC.
The position is available immediately and is paying a package of 45,000 to 55,000 QAR per month depending on applicants skills and experience.
Requirements
- Experience with Delay Analysis, EOT Analysis, Claims Writing, Preparation of claims narrative, Variation orders, claims and variation order substantiation.
- University Degree or equivalent at a Western Institution
- Experience working in the Middle East/Qatar
- Experience on large civil engineering / Infrastructure projects.
