Job description / Role
Care and management of patient arriving to Radiology department prior to procedures under anesthesia and different imaging studies according to ASPAN Standards to deliver efficient and safe patient care including/but not limited to:
• Optimising patient experience to reach exceptional outcomes in their health care journey
• Adhere to Company policy and procedure in identifying and assessing patient needs including/but not limited to: Physical, emotional, Psychological…
• Optimise family centred care approach and demonstrate knowledge of age specific developmental needs
• Perform comprehensive patient assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of care
• Pre-procedural assessment/verification
Pre-procedural and Intra-procedure interventions as per the treatment plan, including but not limited to:
• Management of patients undergoing contrast Study procedures
• Venous access procedures
• Medication administration
• Skin preparation
• Preparing and managing patients with special procedures including but not limited to VCUG, Choanal atresia, MRE, Barriums, wallow procedures.
• Patient education on discharge.
• Care and management of patients post anesthesia and post imaging studies by aligning to ASPAN Standards for safe and efficient patient care including but not limited to:
• Assessing and preparing patients for discharge from phase II
• Review of medication pharmacy orders
• Patient and family education, follow up and escalation
Requirements
• Female Candidate Must Be Under A (Family/Husband Sponsorship)
• Female (preferably under family/husband sponsorship and currently residing in Qatar)
• Registered Nurse
• At least 5 years related experience
• Diagnostic Imaging Department including but not limited to CT, Ultrasound and Interventional Radiology.
