Cognos Developer

Charterhouse is working with a leading Qatari bank. Our client is looking to hire a Cognos Developer to join their Business Intelligence Team.

This position will be responsible for the design, development and administration of solutions built using various Cognos 10.1 studios; namely report studio, query studio, analysis studio, transformer and framework manager.

Requirements

The successful candidate should have a bachelors Degree in computer / information sciences along with at least 5 years experience in business intelligence development. You should be an expert in the development of business intelligence components in Cognos version 8.4 (ideally 10.1) and have technical knowledge of report studio, query studio, analysis studio, framework manager and transformer. You should also have an excellent understanding of business insight, event manager and metric studio. It is essential you have exposure to Cognos mobile and active reports and possess experience within the banking sector. Strong English communication skills are crucial for this role.
