Our team is growing and we are currently seeking for a Commercial/ Estimating Manager that will be based in Doha Metro, Qatar.

Duties and Responsibilities not limited to:
• The Commercial Manager will provide oversight on all commercial matters relating to the design, construction and supply contracts.
• Managing the procurement and budget control functions.
• The individual should be experienced in procurement under different forms of contract for major civil infrastructure or any related projects, and be able to implement effective contract administration procedures and develop claims avoidance and mitigation strategies, as well as a sound understanding of insurances and bounds.
• Secure accurate revenue recognition and provide reliable updates on cost baseline
• Controls, reports, plans project sales, costs, gross margins and inventories
• Identifies and flags risks and opportunities impacting project margin, proposing corrective actions (e.g. accrual bookings)
• Monitors the use of subcontractors and controls partners
• Maintains the project POC accounting calculation
• Provides commercial support and reports to technical staff (PD, PM, SM) and HQ
• Resolving contractual and commercial problems
• Provide accurate forecasting
• Monitoring, controlling and updating of project costs, risks, billing, invoicing, accruals provisions and project reports.
• Coordinating multiple estimates simultaneously as well as review responsibility for multiple or large estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or any related.
• Administration of multiple contracts forms
• Working knowledge of FIDIC and other international standards
• Experience in pre- and post-award contract administration.
• Familiar with civil and common law is a plus.
• Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiation, high value claims, dispute resolution, arbitration.
• Ability to work as part of specialist team, work with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to perform management capacity.
• First class interpersonal, negotiation, report writing and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of software typically associated with contract administration.
• Organized, effective problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience of administering multiple contracts at any one time.
• Interpreting contracts and dealing with variations, conflicts, claims, disputes, and other contractual issues.
• Ability to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a specialist consultant team.
• Meticulous and positive work attitude.
• Advanced knowledge of estimating strategies and techniques.
• Solid estimating background

Required Experience
• 18+ years overall post graduate experience with 6 years prime contract management (including claims & disputes), preferable in the Gulf/Middle East.
• Must have previous experience in the similar capacity with PMCM or consultancy firms
• Extensive experience with contract administration, negotiation, high value claims, dispute resolution, arbitration.
• Experience of administering multiple contracts at any one time.
